A few sessions of photo work (counting x2), a spring photo shoot of gorgeous blooms, an 11 month old photo shoot, meaning, muffins and several other new fun recipes tried (x4), an art journal page, a card, a PL layout that I’m counting x2 b/c it took me two full long sit down sessions to finish (Mother’s Day, everyday life plus a birthday all in one week!), mending and some creative photography. Sneaky ways I’m creative without even knowing it…that’s why I love this challenge. It makes you realize you are more creative than you give yourself credit for!
Yesterday I went to hang a load of laundry on the clothes line and was in awe of the pure blue sky. Summer-time bliss. I immediately wanted to lie down and gaze up through the hanging laundry. So I did after I grabbed my camera. And then a quick momma/baby selfie!
Made a quick camper card as a thank you for DH’s co-worker and wife that we bought a camper from! They were wonderful about re-learning some of the put up/take down stuff to show us!
Some mending got done that has been in my pile for a LONG time!
Trying to capture the evening light on the iris bed. Every evening I notice them and it makes me happy. I’m not usually an iris person, but these have been beautiful this year. They have been transplanted from my husband’s father’s garden!
And some fun new delicious recipes I’ve tried and we’ve loved.
And this Rhubarb Bundt cake was delicious!
And a couple of asparagus recipes,
Chicken and Asparagus Stir-Fry
Bacon Wrapped Caramelized Sesame Asparagus
Yum, yum, and YUM again!
An 11 month old photo shoot
6 Project Life layout done for Week 20.
Which all brings me up to 50/100. I had hoped to at least make it to 50 this time around and I did! And I still have some time left to get closer to 100. But summer vacation starts tomorrow. Looking forward to more relaxed schedules and some road trips!
In family life, the good life continues!
Saw this on the way home from town one day. They had pulled out of Menards! Who needs a truck!
My laundry helper!
Love this quick and easy lunch. A banana with PB&J and some granola in a wrap.
Our beautiful Iris,
Archie reading in the camper,
Sunday afternoon nap and reading,
Another bonfire!
Another rainbow,
DD2’s home run mints. Their teacher gives them a mint every time the score a home run in recess softball! This is just from a week or two! She’s good!
Happy summer!
